| Trio Barefoot "Like You" The CD contains 9 compositions, mostly by pianist Ole Jonas Storli, and has a strong personal blend of modern nordic jazz, country, free jazz, folk music and classical avant-garde. An important element in the music of Trio Barefoot is the passages of free improvisation which always requires a fresh approach from the musicians. Combined with a playful attitude this makes the outcome of the music fresh and unpredictable. Still, the trio doesn't let these elements disturb the melodic and harmonic material found in the compositions, but rather let all elements become one, unique thing. |
